Andrea cathedral of Amalfi, located in the center of the town on Piazza Duomo, in Baroque style inside and Byzantine outside. Beautiful frescoes of saints including that of S. Andrea which date back to the 11th century. century make it an obligatory destination in the country. The statue of Sant'Andrea was sculpted by Michelangelo Naccherino, a pupil of Michelangelo.
